Melissa Carruthers was originally born in Edmonton Alberta, and later moved to a small Northern Ontario town by the name of Marathon at the age of eight.
After completion of high school in 2000, she moved to London Ontario, to attend Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology. There she earned a General Arts and Science Certificate, a Photography Diploma, and an E-Photojournalism Certificate.
After graduating in the spring of 2004 she spent a month traveling in Vietnam and than returned to Marathon to pursue her photography career. Shortly there after she moved to Lindsay, Ontario. |
